2017-18 Winter Indoor training will being on Monday Nov. 20. We will have sessions on Mon and Wed from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Standing Stone Elementary School Gym. We will hold sessions through the end of March or until Hawks practices start outdoors. Sessions are for any boys currently in grades 8-12.
Pre-Season Practices – Mandatory pre-season practices will take place at the Middle School Practice Field at the following times:
August 14-18 and August 21-22 which is the day before the first day of school (8/23/2017) from 8-10 a.m.

Team Picnic will be Sunday, August 20 at 6:00 PM at the main pavilion at Detwiler Field.
School starts on August 23rd, so we will switch at that time to our normal practice schedule on all non-game days from 3:30-5:30!
Players must have with them sneakers, cleats, shinguards, filled water/beverage container, and proper soccer shorts and socks. Players needing an inhaler must bring that with them too.
Players must attend ALL training sessions if they wish to play during the 2017 season. All PIAA physicals and paperwork must be turned in to the HAHS office prior to the first practice session on Monday 8/14/2017 in order for players to participate!
PAY TO PLAY STATEMENT:
From the Huntingdon Area High School Athletic Office (note that this does NOT apply to families from Mt. Union):
"Every athlete must pay a $30.00 fee (per sport) to participate. This is HASD policy. The money should be returned in an envelope marked with the player's name with the physical paperwork before the first practice. If you receive free or reduced lunch, the fee is waived. Please write that you receive these services and return in the envelope. You are not able to participate without this fee."
REQUIRED Physicals for Fall soccer will be held on:
Tuesday, July 25th at 9:45 AM - 10:15 AM for High School Boys players
Tuesday, July 25th at 10:15-10:45 AM for Junior High Boys Players
Physicals are at the high school, enter at the main school/office entrance.
You can also contact the school office for alternative dates and appointments for the FREE physical.
You can download all the forms from this website by clicking on documents on the left menu bar. You use the same forms if you prefer to get a physical from your own family doctor. Physical and Paperwork completion is REQUIRED before you can participate in practice or games.
NOTE: ***If you elect to go to your family physcian, you must wait until June 1 or later, and you MUST follow up with the trainer's office to schedule a concussion screening if that is requied.
Turning in ALL the required paperwork while at the physical at the high school would be a great way to finish all that up and be cleared to begin pre-season! The optional but highly recommended team camp this summer for Senior High will be on Monday, 7/24 through Friday 7/28 . The senior high team camp will run from 5pm - 8pm from Mon. through Thurs. and from 9am - 11am on Friday.
The Junior High Team Camp will run from Monday, July 31 through Thursday, August 3 from 6-8pm on all days.
The location of both of the team camps is the Juniata College's
Henry H. and Joanie R. Gibbel Stadium
The camps will be run by Dan Dubois, Head Mens Coach Juniata College. More information will be distributed at a later date. SAVE THE DATES!
