Pegasus FC advances to the Semifinals after a a convincing win

Winter Springs, FL - Pegasus FC beat Sporting Orlando FC 6-1 in the First Round of Playoffs on Sunday. They started their attack immediately after the opening whistle was blown. Justin Scoville opened the scoring when Emiliano Samid sent a pass down the left side of the field. Scoville received the ball and dribbled to the top of the 18 and curled a shot around the keeper into the right side of the net. Soon after that, Darren Frankenberger kept his scoring streak going when he headed home an excellent cross from Tommy Jacob from a set piece with Luis Sanchez. The 3rd goal was scored by Aleksandr Slipenko on a nice shot to the right side of the goal. Pegasus FC went up 3-0 in 22 minutes of gameplay. Sporting Orlando FC was able to pull one back after a defensive miscue. Halftime score was 3-1. Pegasus FC was not finished. Great individual effort by Brandon Cuervito Gutierrez left him one on one with the keeper and he was able to blast it over the keeper for Pegasus' 4th goal. Their 5th goal came when great teamwork between, Justin ScovilleRandy Milliken, and Daniel Colina allowed Luis Sanchez a free shot on the keeper. Sanchez slotted it right in the bottom right hand corner of the goal. Aleksandr Slipenko was hungry for one more goal in the game. He calmly and cooly dribbled around a couple of defenders and the keeper to an open net. Pegasus FC has good momentum going into the Semifinals. They will be facing either Venezuela Atletico Rumba FC or Rollins FC next Sunday April 30th at time and location not yet known.
