Welcome to TPHS XC!

Hi Future TPXC runners (and parents)! We are excited about your interest in running Cross Country at Torrey Pines. 
Please note the following:

Preseason Meeting, Tuesday, June 5, 3:00p:
Please meet at the red lunch tables outside the gym locker room. Athletes and parents welcome.  Coach Kaitlin will discuss the summer training plans.
Athletic Packets due June 15:
Please complete the required athletic packet by Friday, June 15.  Note that this deadline is much earlier than in the past.  Athletic clearance is required to participate in the upcoming mandatory practices.

Optional TPHS Physical Night:
Thursday, June 7, 5:00-8:00, Building B. 
TPHS will be hosting an option for completing athletic physicals for a nominal fee, and the proceeds benefit the Foundation.  Please note that you may also use your own private health care provider as well.

Non Contact period:
July 2-13
Coaches are not permitted to meet with team during this time, but captains or any runners may organize "fun runs.”

Mon, 8:00-9:30am,Torrey Pines State Beach North
Tues, 8:00-9:30am, Penasquitos Canyon
Wed, 8:00-9:30am,TPHS weight room
Thur, 8:00-9:30am, Penasquitos Canyon
Fri, 8:00-9:30am,Torrey Pines State Beach North
Sat, 8:30-10:30am, Breakfast Runs

Breakfast Runs:
Summer Saturdays, 8:30- 10:30am
July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug 4, Aug 11
Breakfast runs are a fun TPHS XC tradition!  They are super easy to host.  Some families work in pairs.  The host(s) will provide breakfast for the team.  Breakfast may be as simple as bagels and fruit.  The only requirement is chocolate milk!  :)  You may host at your home, at your favorite park, or at the beach.  The captains and hosts will lead the run.  No stress!

Please sign up now!
Freshmen are welcome and encouraged to attend. 
Camp is always fun!  You won't want to miss out.
If enough athletes sign up, we will organize a bus for transportation.
