December 14, 2013. On Saturday, the Texas Mavericks hosted the US Army All-American Bowl Youth Camp in San Antonio. The youth enjoyed a fun, exciting and competetive camp led by the Texas Mavericks football players. The young athletes focused on fundamentals, as they eagerly drilled with great effort. Campers also competed against eachother in a chellenging obstacle course.
On hand was former Dallas Cowboy Rance Olison, representing the NFL Former Players Association. Olison, spoke to the children and signed autographs. Other sponsors included Walmart and Uncle Bob's Self Storage.
The US Army All-American Bowl will be held on January 4th at the Alamodome. Kick off is at noon and the game will be broadcast live on NBC.
