Monday, February 5th, the Montville Indians wrestling team will be hosting CT state contenders, Killingly Redmen. This is a showdown of 2 TOP TEN wrestling programs in the entire state.

Tomahawk Youth Wrestlers will be recognized. It is also Senior Night and the HS Seniors will be recognized. We hope you can all make it and support the High School Wrestlers that have been through our program and achieved so much. We all take great pride being a part of the kids development and success, and it's also a lot of fun to watch wrestling at this level.

On Tuesday, January 23rd we are having picture night. 

Mark Kosman (of MarkKosmanDesign) will be on site do take solo pictures of wrestlers. There are several different packages to choose from and payment is made direct to Mark. Go to his web site or facebook page to view different poses and styles of his work. The pictures are always awesome to say the least. Bring your singlet. The solo pictures are optional but there are some very low priced options and for this quality it is well worth it.

We will also do a team photo between beginner's and advanced practice (6:30PM) ---So please wear your new Tomahawk Wrestling shirt and black shorts. (I am in the process of handing out shirts, some of you will get them on Thusday, please see me in the hallway) Every wrestler should get a shirt. 

This is a during practice event. A few wrestlers at a time can line up. We are still training!

Happy 2018! Thanks to all who were able to attend the duals in NL. We were pleased with the level of wrestling. I was personally surprised by many of our newer wrestlers...We took our occasional bumps but also saw improvement and a good level of intensity. Mostly, thanks to you parents for hanging tough in the freezing cold building (no heat?) while the steady snow was falling. I am confident the next venue WILL have heat.
