NEAFL Round 2 Playoffs

Box Score

May. 20, 2017

The Wolfpack Traveled down to the Eastern Shore Element for a Round 3 match up of this season. Final Score 26-6. This will be the 7th straight win for the wolfpack.

The Wolfpack Defense has done more then enough to solidify their spot in the league as one of, If not the Best Defense in the League. Allowing a total of 18 pts in 3 games against the Element. Every Level of the Pack D Was clicking. Shutting down QB Jermaine Trader, limiting him to a very short TD early in the game. Second half the Defense really turned the corner. Turnovers created by Zach Matthews, Darnell Ferguson , Bryant Lee Lewis, and Rodney Fisher. Big hits and consistent play all over the field this week.

The wolfpack Offense was not to be out done this week by the Def. QB Joe Bianchino demonstrated true tenacity this week against the Element Defense, lead by Corner Jacobi Crawley. The Pack worked it's way down the field for it's first opening drive Touch down of the season with at Pass and catch to TE Joebree Harris . The Pack came alive through the hair, with the total of 4 TDs. The second TD to Jeavon Stokes, another to "Pearl Jones" and JoeBree Harris with another to Seal up the game. The Pack O-Line put a good showing again to keep the QB clean and giving him the time he needed to deliver the ball. When all the Gears are well oiled, the Train keeps moving.

The next round of the playoffs will be happening June 3rd. Your Wilmington Wolfpack will be traveling to the Delaware County Cowboys, out of Chester PA. The wolfpack last loss was to the cowboys 20-12 in week 3 of the season. Many things have change and both teams are Red hot, and ready to punch their tickets for the big show.
