Week 8

Box Score

May. 6, 2017

This weekend your Wilmington Wolfpack finished out the regular season with a 25-6 win against the eastern shore element.

The Game was a Defensive battle early on until both sides gave up 2 long town downs. After that point the Wolfpack Defense turned up the defense and began to close the in on the shifty element offense. American Conference best Defense (46pts allowed) started it's turn up on defense with a Interception by Darryl Dorsey-Williams. Zachary Matthews kept the party going with a INT for a TD. The DL of the Wolfpack had their hands full with the talented Element QB, but with the consistent pressure from John Johnson, Quameen Jones, Rodney Fisher, James Jackson, Charlie Ritchie, and the rest of big uglies. Johnson and Jones both recorded strip sacks.

Offensively the Wolfpack QB Joe Bianchino has continued on his growth in and out of the pocket. Throwing for over 100 yards and 2 TDs, both going to "Pearl Jones". The Wr core put on a show with catches by AJ Edwards, JoeBree Harris, Tj Brooks, and Jaevon Stokes. RB Keith Rich got into the end zone this week, which marks every Wolfpack Running back with a touchdown this season. The pack goes into the post season with a focused offensive. The key advance this time of year is a healthy Line. With tackles Terrell Dixon and Isiah Johnson being solid anchors to the line, consistency is the path to greatness.

Specials Teams was not to be out done this week. A massive kick return by "Pearl Jones" put the pack a great scoring position. The Kick off "Hit Squad" also produced a turn over, with a hit by Eddie Johnson and Marc Moore recovered by Jaquan Mitchell.

Next week the Wolfpack will host a first round Playoff game Vs The Delmarva Iron Eagles.
