YOUTH

The club held a successful registration evening last Sunday in the LCC Centre. We thank all those who helped in anyway.

The Under 14 & Under 16 Girls training begins tonight, Monday 22nd January from 7pm to 8.15pm in Belcoo Community Centre and continues on Wednesday 24th January in Belcoo Community Centre from 7pm to 8.15pm.

Well done to Aine Barrett and Aoife Keaney who have made the Fermanagh Under 16 Ladies panel for the forthcoming season. Best wishes to all.

      

Under 14/15 Boys training commences Thursday 25th January in Mullaghdun Community Centre from 7pm to 8.15pm.

FERMANAGH SENIORS

Best wishes to clubmen Gary Doherty, Brian Cox, Jonathan Feeley and Shane McCabe with the Fermanagh Senior Mens team as they embark on their National League Campaign this Sunday with a home game to Wexford at 2pm.

COACHING COURSE

The club are hosting a Foundation Coaching Course which will be held in the LCC Centre this weekend and run by Fermanagh GAA. Friday 26th will be the Safeguarding element from 7pm to 10.30pm while the Practical & Theory element is Saturday from 9.30am to 4pm. We thank those who have put their names forward to attend and complete their qualification.

COMMITTEE MEETING

Club Committee Meeting Wednesday 24th January at 8.30pm in the Parish Centre. All members to attend.

Last chance for Last Man Standing Competition which begins this weekend. Entry is £10, winner receives £500. Please see a committee member, facebook, website or twitter for entry sheets. You can also enter and pay online via the club website.

Tickets are out for the National Draw from Croke Park for 20 fantastic prizes. New Renault Dynamique Car is top prize with €2000 in travel vouchers as a second prize plus loads others including all Ireland football and hurling tickets with overnight stays etc. The club itself will be holding an in-house draw like last year so our buyers have a chance to win a few prizes before the tickets go to Croke Park for the main draw.

LOTTO

Lotto Letters drawn on 15th January were D, G, M, L, T. Lucky dips went to Margo Carron, Carla Ryan, Eileen McKenzie and Stevie Leonard. Next Jackpot draw is for £2,800.

CONDOLENCES

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family Peggy Scott, Cavanmore, Holywell, Belcoo who past away last weekend. May she rest in peace.

Jan 19, 2018 - Senior Ladies - Meeting Sunday 21st January

The club are looking into the possibility of a Senior Ladies Team for the upcoming season - all ladies interested are invited to come to the Registration & Information Evening being held this Sunday 21st January at 6pm at the LCC Centre - everyone welcome including players wishing to transfer back to Belcoo or temporary transfer from other clubs not entering a Senior team. A decision will be made pending interest levels and ability to commit for the year after Sunday night.

REGISTRATION

The club will be holding a Youth Registration & Information Evening for Belcoo O'Rahilly's on Sunday 21st January at 6pm in the LCC Centre. All underage players, boys & girls, interested in playing football for Belcoo GFC in 2018 must attend with a parent/guardian please.
Also, for anyone who wants to find out more about what we do, or those who might be interested in getting involved - come along and chat to coaches/mentors in attendance. EVERYONE WELCOME.

COACHING COURSE

CONDOLENCES

The club extends its deepest sympathy to Pat Joe Leonard, Aughoo, Belcoo who passed away in his 98th year. He was a member of our side from the 1940's. May he rest in peace.

The club extends its deepest sympathy to Peggy Scott, Cavanmore, Holywell, Belcoo. Remains reposing at her residence. Remains will leave her home at 11am on Saturday 20th January to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Holywell, Belcoo for 11:30am funeral mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

ADULT

Anyone interested in playing Adult Football in 2018. Training continues, Monday 15th January in the LCC Centre with Boxercise from 8.30pm. Bring £3.

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot on Tuesday 2nd January. Letters drawn were E, L, M, Y, Z. Lucky Dips went to PJ Mc Kenna, Carissa Sweeney, Michelle Duffy (Garrison) and Paul Leonard (Jacks). Next weeks draw takes place on Monday 8th January at 9pm in the Parish Centre for a £2,700 Jackpot.

The Club are running a Last Man Standing Competition for the National League covering Division 1 & 2. The Rules are listed below and the Winners Prize will the same as last year, £500.

All Committee Members & Adult Footballers are also selling sheets.

  • You must pick a different county team in each of the 7 weeks that you think will WIN their match that week.
  • If your selected county LOSE or DRAW, YOU ARE OUT.
  • You can NOT pick the same county twice.
  • The Aim is to avoid being eliminated to become the 'Last Man Standing'
  • In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed  or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round.
  • If 2 or more people remain standing – jackpot will be split.. should all remaining entrants go out in the same week, they will share the jackpot.
