Box Score

Sep. 6, 2009

The Under 12 team remain undefeated in the league following another win on Saturday morning at a windy McNean Park. The Belcoo youngsters defeated Aughdrumsee on a scoreline of 10.13 to 2.02. Belcoo started well and ran out comfortable winners.

Belcoo had to thank their young goalkeeper Channel Stewart for pulling off a tremendous save early on. Gary Doherty at full-back put in a sound performance and was well supported by cornor backs Eoin Shiels and James McAloon. The half back line included the vastly improving Michael Doherty and the pacey Brian Furey. The centre half back Tara Gallagher with cornor forward team mate Donna Feeley back on home soil following their recent Croke Park exploits. The midfield pairing of Daniel Corrigan and Matthew McAloon ensured that the young O'Rahillys had a very powerful presence in this sector of the park.

Further up the field James Gillespie and Daire Keaney both looked lively and the centre half forward Nathan Stewart was as ever influential. Aaron Duffy, Aaron McTernan with Donna made up the strong full forward line. JP Carney, Coailfhionn Doherty, Colm Furey, Conor McAloon and Michael McGourty all played their part in this success.

The Goalscorers were M McAloon, McTernan and N Stewart With Keaney, McAloon, Corrigan, McGourty and Stewart among the point takers. The game was played in a friendly manner and was well refereed by Dermot Love (Enniskillen). The team do not have a game this weekend.
