Anyone Interested in 'Being Creative'

Mar. 15, 2013

Fancy the opportunity to design, develop and star in a video, flyer, poster campaign, song etc about your local Community?

Ulster GAA are seeking 5 young people (16-25 years) from your Club who would wish to take part in a "Being Creative" joint event with the Young Farmers.  The event will take place in Greenmount CampusAntrim, Co. Antrim, BT41 4PS on Easter Wednesday 3rd April from 10am - 3pm.

A video camera company, and other resources will be onhand through-out the day for the group to use as they wish. The format is a blank canvas with young people coming together, contributing their ideas, to create a resource which depicts their community, culture and involvement in their GAA club.  The event is being organised through the Youth Council, and all participants will receive a branded certificate which will contribute to CVs and personal statements.

If your club has young, enthusiastic members interested in youth work, drama, art, multi-media, or just simply proud of their GAA roots, then they are asked to register their interest with maura.kelly.ulster@gaa.ie by Friday 22nd March.

As places are strictly limited to 15 GAA members in total, places will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, and can only be registered with confirmation of names. The first three clubs coming back with five confirmed participants will be allocated the places.
