U-21 Report: Belcoo 3-15 St. Pat's 1-4

The Under 21's remain unbeaten following a win over St.Pat's in extremely blustery conditions today in Belcoo.
The opening 20minutes seen both sides trade points before St. Pat's broke forward and scored a goal to put them 1-3 to 0-4 points up. The four Belcoo points coming from two long range Ronan Ferguson frees and two points from play from Jonathan Feeley. The St.Pat's goal was there last score of the half as Belcoo fired over 5points in the closing 10minutes of the half, again Feely split the posts twice while Ferguson got a free and his first from play with Kieran Conlon also getting on the scoresheet. Half Time Belcoo 0-9 St.Pat's 1-3.
St. Pats came out and scored what was to be there only point of the second half before Belcoo took complete control of the game. At the back Ryan Leonard held things together while James McGrath and Niall McGovern dominated midfield.
Twelve minutes into the second half Eoin Leonard ran from the half back line playing a number of one-twos before firing low into the net, this goal killed off St. Pat's. Feely got his fifth point of the game before Ferguson scored two more frees. Kieran Conlon added to his first half point with 1-2 in the closing stages before Gavin Leonard tapped into an empty net following good work by Ronan Ferguson to seal a comprehensive win.
Next week the Under 21's are away to Lisnaskea at 12noon.
