Volunteers Required - Lanterns For Life
Mar. 20, 2014
LANTERNS FOR LIFE
Fundraiser for Action Cancer
Belcoo O’Rahilly’s GAA Grounds
On Sunday 23rd March at 8pm, lighted lanterns will be released from the Belcoo GAA Pitch in memory of loved ones who have died as a result of cancer.
Volunteers are required to help let off the Lanterns during the Event
As lanterns soar into the night sky we acknowledge the sadness of their passing while celebrating the joy they brought to our lives. Death may have taken them from us before we were ready to let them go, but coming together as a community we remind ourselves, and each other, that the light of their lives forever burns brightly in our hearts.
Lanterns will be available on the night (suggested donation £5). If you can’t attend and would like lanterns to be used at your own personal event contact Carol Corrigan on 07927913421 or Bridie Sweeney on 07873270867
