A windy Pairce MacNeain saw Belcoo seniors record their second win in the league after a hard fought and desereved three point victory over Erne Gaels on a scoreline of 1-08 to 1-05.
A Niall Leonard goal early in the second half was just enough to keep the home side out of reach along with some smart ball retention.
Belcoo started brightly with the aid of a stiff breeze and opened their account with a John Carrigan free after pressure from the home forwards forced an Erne Gaels defender into committing a foul.
Ciarán Flaherty drilled over with the outside of his boot as the Belcoo defence lived dangerously with Mark Lyons putting the ball wide when through one on one.
However the Belleek man didn't have to wait long to make amends. A quickly taken side line ball put him through on goal again and he made no mistake the second time around to put the visitors one up.
Flaherty brougt it back to all square with an almost identical point as his first and Carrigan knocked over another free.
Belcoo could have went further in front after good work from Brian Cox put Aaron Dolan straight through on goal but he flashed a shot across the goal and wide.
Erne Gaels centre back Barry McCann converted a 45 against the wind to level as the first half progressed and full forward Seamus Ryder pointed from an outrageous angle with the outside of his boot.
Aaron Dolan replied for the home side after some strong work from Gavin Leonard to leave it all square at the break on 0-05 to 1-02.
The second half was to be a tight affair as both sides struggled to score but it was the Belcoo three pointer that proved the difference.
The home side started brightly and Niall McGovern powered through from midfield to fire over.
Seamus Ryder popped over a free for the visitors before Belcoo hit a purple patch.
A shot from Aaron Dolan rebounded of the post and Niall Leonard, up from full back, was the quickest to react and stay calm to fire past the keeper.
Leonard added a point to his tally while Flaherty got his third of the day with a point from long range to keep the Belcoo scoreboard ticking over and keep them out of reach but this was to be Belcoo's last score of the game.
Tommy McCaffrey pointed for Erne Gaels as they decided to go route one as the second half entered the closing stages.
Belcoo were dealing well with the long ball tactic, with Brian Cox shackling Ryder after moving from full forward to full back, while they remained patient in possession attempting to open up a crowded Erne Gaels defence.
Erne Gaels did have a number of chances to get back into the game but Aidan Leonard in goals pulled off an outstanding save while Declan Leonard cleared off the line as matters got tense.
The final score of the day came from a Seamus Ryder free to leave three points in it and it was to remain that way as the home side hung on for the victory to keep them at the top of the table with a 100 per cent record.
