    Team P W D L F A Pts

2.   Belcoo 3 2 0 1 43 33 4

4.   Devenish 3 1 0 2 43 63 2
5.   Brookeboro 3 0 0 3 46 69 0

The visitors were to hold the upperhand throughout as Belcoo never got going at any stage of the contest. Jamie Ray was to have a fine game between the posts, making five excellent saves from one on one situations to keep his side within striking distance.

By the end of quarter 1 a bright start had seen St. Joseph’s into a 1-1 to no score lead. CJ Booth registering an early point before Oran McMenamin plundered a goal from close range.

Things continued to be tight during the second quarter, the Belcoo defence doing well having absorbed alot of pressure. Only one score was registered during this 12minute period, Dara McKenna on target for the visitors to leave it 1-2 to 0-0 at half time.

Belcoo struggled during the first half going forward as Ederney was on top in most sectors. Josh Killilea was working hard up front as was Dara Flanagan in the middle and Oisin O’Loughlin in defence.

The hosts had their best spell in Quarter 3 as Oran McCann registered two good points from distance before and after a score form Ederney’s Oran McMenamin. Lawrence McKeown was wayward with some shooting before McCann hit the post going for goal which would have let just one between them. The forward’s effort rebounding to a defender who cleared having been left off the hook, the visitors would land three points by the end of the quarter to move 1-6 (8) to 0-2 ahead. McKenna with two and McMenamin again on target.

Belcoo made a fist of it in the final quarter registering two goals from Lawrence McKeown and Oran McCann but four points from the visitors cancelled out these goals to see Ederney secure a 6point win and a place in the final.
