Cardiac Screening Clinic with Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives
Apr. 26, 2015
The club plans to run a Cardiac Screening Clinic with Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives in the coming weeks. While the primary focus is to screen people involved in sporting activities between the age of 14-35 we are opening up the service and making it available to anyone above this age who would also like to under go the screening.
The screening clinic process involves completing a screening questionnaire and having an electrocardiogram (ECG) done. All ECG's will be assessed and interpreted by a Consultant Cardiologist. Further testing by way of Echocardiogram (ECHO) is available, if required.
At this time the club are looking for people to declare their interest in getting themselves screened. Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives charge £35 per person. Anyone interested please email the clubs Health & Well-Being Officer Lucia Barrett at firstname.lastname@example.org
Deadline for declaring your interest is Friday 9th May. Once we know how many are interested a date will be fixed for the event and payment taken.
