Club Notes

Oct. 5, 2015

Our U12’s reached the Final of a fiercely competitive PJ Treacy Memorial Tournament in Garrison on Saturday afternoon before suffering a narrow loss to Tyrone’s Beragh Red Knights in the Final. This brings the U12 season to an end. We thank all players and coaches for their efforts during the year. A presentation night will be held in the coming weeks, more details will be given when known.

U16 Training continues on Wednesday 7th October at 7pm. Next league fixture is Saturday 10th October at 4pm Home to Devenish.

Senior Training continues on Saturday 10th October at 6.30pm. The last league game before the split is expected to be on Sunday 25th October at 3pm in Garrison.

The walk, jog, or running floodlit area around the Shannon Gaels GAA pitch will be lit up like last year every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 8pm. It starts again (tomorrow) Tuesday 6th October and on Thursday 8th October and will continue to February, cost €1. It is a great way for all our members, playing and non-playing, of all ages to keep active over the winter months.
