Club Notes

Commiserations to our Under 16’s who were beaten in their Division 3 League Final by Tempo at the weekend on a score of 5-9 to 3-14. This result brings an end to the U16 season, we thank the players and coaches for their time and effort throughout the year.

We are holding a Youth Presentation Evening on Sunday 29th November at 6pm in the new LCC Centre. More details next week.

This Saturday, 21st November, is our Youth Trip to the International Rules in Croke Park for the Ireland v Australia game, Bus will leave from the Cottage Meadow Car Park at 3pm, packed lunch is advisable, please see weebly for more details later in the week.

The Club is running a 5 week programme in the lead up to Christmas for U14 Girls in the area. It is a chance to keep active, develop your football skills while having the craic with your friends. There is no cost attached. This programme will commence on Saturday 21st November and continue until 19th December from 10.30am to 11.30am each week.

Our Seniors return to action this Sunday at 2pm, with a home game against Lisnaskea. A win secures Division 1 football next season. Big performances required.

The floodlit area around Shannon Gaels GAA pitch is back in use on Tuesday’s and Thursday's from 7pm to 8pm, cost €1. It is a great way for all our members, playing and non-playing, of all ages to keep active over the winter months whether its running, walking or jogging you fancy.

2015 AGM will take place on Sunday 6th December at 5pm in the Parish Centre.

No winner of the Club Lotto draw on Monday 16th November.Letters drawn were B, C, F, M, X. Lucky Dip £15's Patricia Magee, Phil Donegan (Wicklow), Elizabeth McGovern (Marlbank) and Niall McPartland. Next draw Monday 23rd November, Jackpot capped at £9,950

Congratulations to our U10 manager Conor Barrett who has helped guide Realt Na Mara (Bundoran GAA) to the Ulster Intermediate Championship Final following a 1-12 to 1-7 victory over Armagh side Glenavy in last Sunday’s Semi Final at Páirc Esler in Newry. They will meet Loughlinisland in the Final on 29th November.
