Competitions & Draws:
There was a massive 82 fallers in week 2 of Last Man Standings as defeats for Kerry and Armagh took out a host of competitors. Just 44 remain in the running for the £500 prize.
Big thank you to all who bought and sold the GAA National Club Draw tickets over the past few weeks.
Please note our U10 & U8 Training will begin on Saturday 27th February in the Community Centre, more details will be released nearer the time, please keep and eye on the weebly noticeboard.
Under 14's have a challenge game in Lisnaskea tonight, Monday 8th February at 7.30pm, bus leaving cottage meadow car park at 6.15pm, bring £2 for the bus. Training continues on Wednesday 10th February from 7pm to 8.15pm. League opener is pencilled in for Saturday 20th February away to neighbours Devenish.
Minor Training continues on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s around Blacklion pitch from 7pm to 8pm with a field session in Belcoo on Sunday’s at 11am. League opener is pencilled in for Sunday 21st February at 12pm at home to Kinawley.
Under 14 & Under 16 Fermanagh Girls County Training continues on Saturday 13th February at 2pm at the Lakeland Forum, players are asked to be there for 1.45pm.
Senior & Junior training continues this week on Wednesday and Friday at 8.30pm.
An O'Neill's Merchandise Order will be placed tomorrow, Tuesday 9th February. Anyone wishing to purchase club gear should contact Cecelia Feeley on 07837771870 before then.
The floodlit area around Shannon Gaels GAA pitch is back in use on Tuesday’s and Thursday's from 7pm to 8pm, cost €1. It is a great way for all our members, playing and non-playing, of all ages to keep active over the winter months whether it's running, walking or jogging you fancy in a safe environment.
There is also a Cross Country Run from 2pm to 3pm on Sunday’s in the Cottage Meadow for all ages. Full Warm Up, Stretches and Cool Down included. U12s must be accompanied by an adult. No charge, old boots or shoes required.
There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot on Monday 1st February. Letters drawn were D, J, M, O, S. Lucky dips went to Marian Swinbank, Mary Monaghan, Jenny Corrigan (c/o BT) and Julie Corrigan. The two monthly £50's went to Thomas Lily and John Flanagan. Jackpot remains £9,950.
