The Seniors travelled to Garrison on Sunday and returned home winners by the narrowest of margins on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-9.

It was Devenish who opened the scoring before Niall McGovern, Ronan Ferguson and a John Carrigan free seen Belcoo eventually turn some of their attacks into scores. Free kicks from John O'Flanagan and Barry Mulrone levelled the game midway threw the frst half.

A well taken point from Kieran Leonard put Belcoo in front again before Brian Cox forced an excellent save from Thomas Treacy in the Devenish goals. Another John Carrigan free was matched by two Mulrone frees but it was Belcoo who went in at the break in front thanks to Ciarán Flaherty who pointed after collecting the ball out wide and evading a few challenges before clipping the ball over the bar. Half Time: Devenish 0-5 Belcoo 0-6.

Within minutes of the restart referee Paul Campbell awarded Devenish a penalty when Niall McGovern was deemed to have fouled Terry O'Flanagan. Chris O'Brien stepped up and duly dispatched the penalty past James McGrath to put Devenish back into the lead.

Belcoo responded well to going behind, John Carrigan pointed a free before a Paul McGrath free levelled the game at 0-8 to 1-5. More scores followed for Belcoo as they took control of the game, Paul McGrath registered another 2 points while Ronan Ferguson also pointed twice, Devenish sole response was from Mulrone.

With only a few minutes remaining John Carrigan put three points between the sides. Devenish started looking for goals in the closing moments but Belcoo defended well and late points from Mulrone and a Chris O'Brien 45 was all they could get before time ran out.
