Club Notes

Our U10 & U8 Training resumes this Saturday 19th March at the FOOTBALL PITCH due to forecasted good weather. ALL AGE GROUPS will be trained from 10.30am to 11.45am.

This is a great place for the kids of our future to Learn & Develop the skills of the game in a fun filled and safe environment. We encourage all kids in the area to attend.

Our Under 14’s lost to Ederney last weekend on a 3-13 to 2-4. Training continues tonight (Monday 14th March) from 7pm to 8.15pm.

There are TWO U14 Matches this week, they travel to Garrison on Wednesday night for a refixture with Devenish, throw in 7pm, bus leaving corner at 6pm, bring £2.. While on Saturday, they host Brookeboro, throw in at 3pm.

Our Minors failed to field for a second week running, a meeting between players and committee members will be arranged this week. Players will be contacted of arrangements.

Congratulations to St. Columban’s Boys who won the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Football Title during the week.

Health & Well-Being

Tonight, Monday 14th March, sees the second of our three Health & Well-Being Events in the Belcoo Healthy Living Centre. It is a Community Health Check Evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in conjunction with Cancer Focus NI and Drink Wise/Age Well.

The club are hosting a Cardiac Screening Day facilitated by Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives on Sunday 20th March 2016. Males & Female aged between 14 and 35 years are eligible for screening. Under 16s require parental consent. We encourage all those eligible to avail of the opportunity provided. Our Final Health & Well-Being programme Mindset will take place on Monday 18th April.

Fundraiser & Memberships DUE

The Adult Footballers are running a ‘Night of the Races’ this Friday 18th March in the Dugout. Horses are on sale for £5 and anyone wishing to sponsor a race can do so for £25. More details and option to purchase via Paypal on club website.

Memberships and Club Registrations will take place in the Belcoo Community Centre after Mass in Holywell on Saturday evening (19th) and in the Mullaghdun Community Centre after Mass in Mullaghdun on Sunday morning (20th). The club is also now active on Klubfunder. Pay your Adult, Youth or Family Membership before 31st March 2016. Join the Lotto via Monthly or Yearly Subscriptions. Pay for the Cardiac Screening event also. More details on the club website.

Just 11 remain in our Last Man Standing Competition for the £500 prize after 17 more entrants fell at the weekend.


There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot on Monday 7th March. Letters drawn were B, C, Q, U, W. Lucky dips went to Gary Timoney, James Boyle, Anna McGovern and Tina Gallagher. The two Monthly £50's went to Marian Higgins and Cathy McCabe. Jackpot capped at £9,950.

Ellie Nicholl R.I.P

The club extends it's deepest sympathy to the Nicholl and Conway families on the passing of little Ellie Nicholl during the week. We keep all her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
