Club Notes

YOUTH

Our P1-P6 training returns this Saturday 4th June from 10.30am to 11.45am. Anyone from the various age brackets with a ‘With Hard Work There Are No Limits’ jersey, please bring them on Saturday.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 31st May, is the deadline to register for the 'Get Gear Early' at the Belcoo Cúl Camp. These camps are for P2 to P7 Boys & Girls. We encourage all our young footballers to attend. Our camp runs from Monday 1st August to Friday 5th August.

The Under 14 Girls produced a rousing second half comeback having trailed by 14points at half time to end up beaten by just two, 6-3 to 4-7 in their first competitive outing last week against Erne Gaels. They face Derrygonnelly, tonight, Monday at 7pm. Players are asked to be at the pitch for 6.30pm.

U14 Girls training will continue on Thursday from 7pm to 8.15pm ahead of the next match on Monday 6th June at home to Kinawley at 7pm.

Our Minors failed to field against Tempo on Friday evening.

SCHOOL SUCCESS

It was a successful week for six of our youth players with their Year 8 school teams as Aoife Keaney, Niamh McAloon and Ciana McGrath secured the Division 1 Title with Mount Lourdes. Jamie Ray and Jack Greene played for St. Joseph’s who claimed the Vocational Schools ‘A’ title while Ben McNulty secured the ‘B’ Title with St. Mary’s Brollagh at Blitz’s during the week.

ADULT

The Seniors suffered a 1-15 to 1-8 defeat at home to Derrygonnelly on Sunday afternoon. They travel to Maguiresbridge this Friday night, 3rd June for a 7.45pm throw in, following agreement by the two clubs to bring forward the 11th June’s fixture.

For the second week running the Juniors collected the points without playing as Irvinestown failed to travel. Tonight the Juniors host Ederney at 8pm.

GOLF CLASSIC

The Club are holding a Golf Classic on the 11th June at Blacklion Golf Course. This is a 4 Person Team Event - £120/€160 entry includes Meal. First Prize - 4 Ball to Headfort, Kells, Co. Meath with Overnight Stay and Evening Meal. Second Prize - 4 Tickets to the 2016 Leinster Hurling Final. Several More Prizes including Nearest to Pin, Longest Drive & Prize for Top Ladies Team. Presentation of Prizes Will Take Place in The Dugout at 10pm following the day's Golf. Timesheet in Operation: Contact Connor Leonard 07934612765.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot draw on Monday 30th May. Letters drawn were D, L, M, V, Y. Lucky Dips went to Geraldine/Conor Leonard, Tom Leonard, Abbie McGovern and Pauline Melanophy. Next draw is Monday 6th June for the £4,450 Jackpot Prize
