YOUTH

There was joy and heartbreak for our Youth teams on Saturday. The Under 12 Boys claimed the PJ Treacy Memorial Title in Garrison after an inital loss to Beragh Red Knights, Belcoo went on to beat Erne Gaels and hosts Devenish before getting the better of the Tyrone side in the Final on a 0-6 to 0-2 scoreline. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a fine achievement at the well run event.

The Under 13 Girls were to finish Runners Up in Division 2 on Saturday after beating Newtownbutler 1-3 to 0-1 in the League Semi Final, they went up against Devenish in the Final but lost out 4-7 to 2-4. It was a great first season for our Girls, we thank the players and coaches for their time and efforts throughout the year.

The Under 12’s have been invited to the Dundas Shield Tournament in Lisnaskea this Saturday, the event commences at 12.30pm. Can parents please contact Aisling McAloon by Wednesday evening to state whether their child is available to attend the competition. Group includes Newtown, Teemore & St. Pat's. Matches are 7minutes a half with the Semi Final and Final 15minutes a half. This is the last outing of the year. Bring £2 for Bus, Warm Clothing, Light Snack, Mouthguards, Gloves etc.
