U12 Blitz Brings Season To A Close

The Football Season drew to it's conclusion this afternoon as our last remaining active team finished up for the year. The Under 12 completed their long and busy season at a Blitz in Lisnaskea today. The event seen the O’Rahilly’s have three games, one of which they won. Matches were 7 and a half minutes each way, no goals, just points.

Belcoo were to meet Newtownbutler, recent Division 1 league winners, in their opening contest, a strong showing from the opposition seen them win 0-9 to 0-1, Jack Greene registering the Belcoo score.

In game two, Belcoo beat Derrygonnelly B 0-7 to 0-1. Eoin Corrigan slotting over three good points, with Jack Greene, Lorcan Leonard, Jamie Ray and Patrick Magee also on target.

Game three seen Belcoo and Teemore play out a tight contest, 0-2 each with two minutes to play, Teemore hit three late points for the win. Jamie Ray knocking over both points for Belcoo in this one.

We thank the coaches & players for their time and efforts over the course of the season.

Our Youth Presentation Night will be held on Sunday 20th November at 6pm in the LCC. Tyrone All Star Midfielder Mattie Donnelly will be our special guest. We encourage all parents and players to attend. Hot food will be provided at no cost as we look back and acknowledge the efforts of our players over the course of the year.
