Club Notes

YOUTH

Under 14 Boys Training continues on Monday & Wednesday nights from 7pm to 8.30pm at the football pitch. Come well wrapped if its a bad evening. League set to commence on 18th February with a home game against Kinawley at 2pm.

Minor Training continues on Thursday nights from 8pm to 9pm. All eligible players are asked to attend. League set to commence on 19th February with an away game in Irvinestown at 12noon.

Fermanagh Ladies are holding U13 trials for all girls born in 2004 & 2005 and also U16 trials for all girls born 2001 & 2002 at the Lakeland Forum this Saturday from 12pm to 1.30pm. Players are asked to be there for 11.45am to register and they would like club colour wore along with a Gumshield and suitable outdoor training gear.

Fermanagh Ladies Under 14 Training continues in Lisnaskea on Wednesdays and the Lakeland Forum on Saturdays.

Fermanagh Boys Academy Training for 2002's (Oran McCann & Lawrence McKeown) will continue again this Saturday, 9.45am at ST.MICHAEL'S COLLEGE - Session runs from 10am to 11.30am. Bring boots, trainers, mouth guard and own water bottle. There will be a challenge match on the 18th February for this squad.

Fermanagh Boys Academy Trails for 2003's (Dara Flanagan, Gerry Nolan, Oisin O'Loughlin, Emmett McGuinness & Patrick Martin) takes place on Saturday 11th February, 9.45am at ST.MICHAEL'S COLLEGE - Session runs from 10am to 11.30am. Bring boots, trainers, mouth guards and own water bottle.

ADULT

Senior & Reserve training continues on Friday at 8.30pm.

FUNDRAISERS

Thanks to all who entered the Clubs Last Man Standing Competition for the National League. Of the 135 entries, 83 have survived to week 2. Derry’s failure to beat Clare accounting for the majority of fallers.

Last push this week on National Draw tickets which include an in-house draw for four great prizes. Sellers will be calling at houses in the village.

OTHER EVENTS & INFORMATION

There is a free SafeTALK Suicide Training Workshop in the Lakeland Community Centre from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Wednesday 8th February for anyone within the club interested in attending.

There is a Foundation Coaching Course in Coa Community Hall on Friday and Saturday 17th & 18th February if anyone is interested in attending, please contact Teresa McNabb to book a place at gdm.fermanagh@gaa.ie the club will cover the £30 course fee.

Club Membership is now due and must be paid prior to 31st March 2017.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the Club Lotto on Monday 30th January. Letters drawn were I, Q, T, W, Z. Lucky dip winners were Rosaleen Hollihead, Noel Stewart, Thomas Parker and Hugh McCabe. Next draw is for a Jackpot prize of £6,200.
