Our Saturday Morning training continues from 10.30am to 11.45am at the Football Pitch for P1 to P6 Boys & Girls. The P5/P6 Skills Focused Sessions will run for another few weeks in Belcoo Community Centre on Mondays from 7pm to 7.45pm for P5 and P6’s. This will change to P3 and P4 sessions shortly.
Our Under 14 Boys suffered a 5-12 to 2-7 defeat to a strong Newtownbutler side. Training continues tomorrow, Tuesday, from 7pm to 8.30pm. They travel to Derrylin on Thursday for their last Section A game. Throw in 6.30pm. Bus leaving 5.20pm.
Our Minors were in action tonight, Monday, at home to St. Pat’s, throw in 6.30pm. Players to be at the pitch for 5.45pm. Next Monday they host Enniskillen Gaels B throw in 6.45pm. Players to be at the pitch for 6pm.
Our Under 14 Girls training continues tonight, Monday, and Wednesday’s from 7pm to 8.30pm at the Football Pitch. New players welcome.
Last call for those willing to host players for the Feile in June, please return the Vetting information to Lucia or Paul this week. The Boys will host a team from Armagh, the Girls will be hosting a team from Scotland on what’s sure to be an enjoyable weekend in late June.
The Reserves suffered a opening game defeat in Irvinestown on Saturday, going down 1-11 to 1-5. They host Aughadrumsee at 6pm this coming Saturday.
The Seniors had a good workout in Loughmacrory on Sunday morning despite going down 2-12 to 0-13. Training continues for all adult players on Tuesday and Friday at 8pm.
TEA DANCE THIS SUNDAY
Tea Dance this Sunday, the clubs Health & Well Being Committee are hosting a Tea Dance on Sunday 2nd April in the LCC from 5pm to 8pm with Music by Mountain Fever. Voluntary Donations in aid of Marie Curie Cancer. Everyone welcome.
LAST MAN STANDING
Last Man Standing competition enters its final week with a likely share of the £500 prize. More details on the club website.
The Club will be hosting its annual Golf Classic on Saturday 13th May in Blacklion Golf Club. We are on the look out for Tees & Green Sponsorship should anyone be interested, please get in touch with Conor Leonard or any committee member. More details of the event is on the club website.
The club is 100 years formed this year. A Centenary Committee has been made created, if anyone else is interested in joining or helping out in any way or has old club memorabilia, please make contact with a current committee member.
Club Membership is now due and must be paid prior to 31st March 2017. Underage Player £5, Adults £20 or Family for £40 which is two adults plus all kids. Can be done online via Klubfunder link on website or by paying any committee member.
ST. COLUMBAN'S SCHOOL OF THE YEAR
The club congratulates St. Columban's Primary School, its principal, teachers, staff and pupils on their fantastic achievement as overall winners in the All Ireland School of the year (150 pupils or less) at the recent Cumann Na MBunscol National Awards. Other finalists in the category included schools from Dublin, Galway and Kerry. Well done to all involved.
There was no winner of the club lotto Jackpot on Monday 20th March. Letters drawn were C, D, O, Q, T. Lucky dips went to Patricia Rasdale, Gerry Timoney (Cashel), Tom Conlon and Dominic Kerrigan. Next draw on Monday 27th March for Jackpot of £6,550
