Centenary Mass & Exhibition
Jul. 13, 2017
The Club’s Centenary Celebrations got underway on Thursday evening with Mass by Fr Seamus Quinn PP in the Marquee at the Football Pitch. There was a large crowd in attendance and we thank everyone who contributed in any way to what was a wonderful ceremony.
Afterwards, Club Chairman Bernard Feeley spoke before introducing GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghaíl who gave a great talk. It was an honour to have the Associations President in our presence. Secretary Tom White followed before John McPartland and Niall Leonard recalled their times with the club much to the amusement of those gathered.
Tea & Refreshments were served while the Historical Exhibition was bringing back plenty of memories and laughter.
Huge thanks again to all who helped in any way in making Thursday’s opening event the success it was. Friday see’s GAA Comedian Rory Stories come to Fermanagh for the first time, he takes the stage at 9pm with the Whistlin Donkey’s on at 10.30pm. It promises to be an entertaining evening. Entry £15.
