The club had a busy weekend hosting the Fermanagh GAA Safeguarding & Foundation Coaching Courses. We had 15 of our own on the Safeguarding element on Friday evening with some new and some refreshing their knowledge while we had 10 new coaches gain their Foundation Award on Saturday. Well done to all and thanks to Peter McGinnity and Teresa McNabb for their expertise over the weekend.
Under 14 and Under 16 Girls training continues tonight, Monday and also Wednesday in Belcoo Community Centre from 7pm to 8.15pm, both nights.
The Under 14/15 Boys Training will be Thursday in BELCOO Community Centre from 6.45pm to 8pm (NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE & TIME).
Huge thanks to all who bought and sold Last Man Standing entries. There were 124 entered however 50 of these fell at the first hurdle when Tyrone, Cork, Clare and Roscommon failed to win last weekend knocking many of these people out. More details are on the club website.
Tickets are out for the National Draw from Croke Park for 20 fantastic prizes. New Renault Dynamique Car is top prize with €2000 in travel vouchers as a second prize plus loads others including all Ireland football and hurling tickets with overnight stays etc. The club itself will be holding an in-house draw like last year so our buyers have a chance to win a few prizes before the tickets go to Croke Park for the main draw.
There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot on 22nd January 2018. Letters drawn were F, J, P, S, V. Lucky dips went to Amy McNulty, Darren McManus, Bull Daglish and Phyills Sheridan. Next weeks Jackpot is for £2,850.
The club extends it’s sympathy to the family of Tommy Maguire, Rahallan who passed away last week. May he rest in peace.
