Eugene Wynne broke up the sequence of scores before Aaron Dolan and Patrick Burns were on the mark again to leave it 0-6 to 0-2 at the midway point of the first half. Robbie Kiernan and Wynne again hit scores for Teemore but Belcoo were to finish the half on top with Burns, Dolan and Feely increasing Belcoo’s lead to 0-9 to 0-4 at the break.

The second period was played at a slightly slower pace but it followed a similar pattern to the first. Both sides traded scores early, with Patrick Burns registering for Belcoo. New signing Damien Holleran fired over his second score of the evening while substitutes Seimi Rafferty and Stephen Nolan both got on the score sheet after been introduced. Burns completed the scoring for Belcoo in what was a routine victory.

Teemore almost managed to get themselves back into the game as they went in search of goals, Eugene Wynne hit the crossbar on two occasions but Teemore will be disappointed by there poor showing in this game.

Belcoo were in control of this game from an early stage, their defense again stood firm, and having only conceded 6points to St. Joseph’s last week they held Teemore to 7 in this game. Gerard Mellor and Ryan Dolan got through a lot of work in midfield while Kevin McPartland and Aidan McGrath were creating scoring opportunities for those around them.

Next Saturday Belcoo are on the road for the third straight week, this time they travel to Tempo for a 6.30pm throw in.
