Our Minors made it two wins from two games following a 2-6 to 1-4 victory over Kinawley on Sunday. This was a battling team display which seen Patrick Sweeney make two smart saves late on while at the other end Aaron Dolan and Philip Leonard hit our goals with Aaron Leonard and Dean McDermott among the points.
Minor Training continues Wednesday at 8pm however it would benefit all players if they attended Senior training on Tuesday also. This Sunday our Minors travel to Maguiresbridge for a 12noon throw in. Bus kleaves the corner at 10.30am.
We wish Michael Maguire a speedy recovery following a broken arm he sustained in the opening Minor fixture last week.
The U14s got off to a winning start on Saturday by defeating Aughadrumsee 6-6 to 2-3. Gerard McHugh, Aaron Duffy, Ciaran Flanagan, Damien McElgunn and Conor McAloon (2) were among the goals while Eoin Shields knocked over some points.
The U14s face Irvinestown in Belcoo this Saturday at 4pm. U14 training continues Thursday from 7pm to 8pm.
Ladies training continues on Friday at 7pm at the pitch. There was a good turnout on Sunday, anyone else who is interested in playing for the ladies are welcome to attend. Tim Flaherty & Stephen Nolan are this seasons Ladies managers, we wish them the best of luck.
Mens training continues Tuesday at 8pm and Friday at 8.30pm.
The Club have organised a Night of The Races in the Hair of the Dog on Friday 23rd March at 9.30pm. Horses are priced at £5 and can be purchased from any adult player or committee member.
Congratulations to St. Michael's MacRory Cup side who have reached the Final. Well done to our three representatives Patrick Sweeney, Daniel Ray and Seimi Rafferty.
