CLUB NOTES

Congratulations to our Minors on winning the Championship Final on Friday night in what was another epic encounter with Enniskillen Gaels. Extra time was needed to secure the title but we were deserved winners on the night. Some excellent defending throughout along with hard work and determination ensured we completed the Double for the season on a score line of 0-11 to 1-4. Well done to Jim, Sean, Anthony and the rest of the backroom staff on a great year. The Team on the Day was Patrick Sweeney, Martin Corrigan, Michael Leonard, James Stewart, Niall Furey, Eoin Leonard, Stephen Nolan, Patrick Burns 0-1, Paul Duffy, Niall Cullen 0-4, Jonathan Feeley 0-3, Barry McGovern, Seamus Rafferty, Eunan Mullally 0-1, Philip Leonard 0-1. Subs Used Stephen Carlin 0-1 and Aaron Dolan.   The seniors were defeated by Derrygonnelly on Sunday by a score of 1-14 to 2-6. Early goals by Christopher Leonard and Stephen Maguire set us on our way but we were to suffer our second defeat of the season. Training continues tonight Wednesday at 7.30pm.   The Under 16's began their season on Sunday night with a good win over Enniskillen Gaels B team as they ran out winners on a score line of 7-10 to 0-3. Philip Leonard, Dylan Stewart, Aaron Dolan and Jack O'Dolan were among the goals. The next game is Thursday evening away to Brookeborugh.   Please note that the next training for the under 10's & 12's is on Saturday 11th July from 12noon to 1.30pm. All under 12 players asked to attend. No training this week.
All completed Applications for the GAA Summer Cul Camps should be returned to Gerry McAloon ASAP.
  The club would like to congratulate Shane McCabe on his recent wedding to Claire Gibson, we wish the happy couple all the best for the future.
