May 14, 2017 - CO Tigers Take 4th Place in the Stampede Tournament

The Colorado Tigers became their own worse enemy in last weekends Colorado Stampeded Tournament.  The team went 3-0 in pool play but it was not easy.  The Tigers put themselves in position of trailing in these games with having to turn to our bats to get out of some error plaged games.

Unfortunley, Sunday was no better with costly errors putting us behined and loosing to in the Semi-Final game 8-4 to the Adreline Black.

The Tigers never gave up in these games as they faught hard and was able to keep themselves in these games.  No matter what sport it is, defense wins championships.  Coaches are very proud they kept fighting but we have a lot of defense work we will be focusing on these next couple of weeks.

The Tigers have two weeks off to recover from some injuries, practice and scrimmages to travel to Oklahoma City on June 1st.  Good Luck in OKC Tigers!!

May 7, 2017 - CO Tigers Place 2nd in Pony Express Rky Mtn Classic

The 12U Colorado Tigers participated in the Pony Express Rky Mtn Classic this past weekend and went an astounding 5-0 in pool and bracket play.  They were well on their way to victory in the semi-final game vs the Colorado Crush-Madison when lightning and rain canceled the tournament.

With the tournament not completing ASA had to look at RA (Runs Scored Against) and RS (Runs Scored) to determine the winners in this ASA National Qualifier.  Giving up just one more run to the CO Angels, the Tigers took 2nd Place with zero losses and a dominating performance for the weekend.

The Colorado Tigers weill be playing this weekend, Mother's Day Weekend, in the Stampede Tournament at the Aurora Sports Complex.  First pool game is at 12:30pm, Complex A, Field #3.  Going to be a beautiful weekend for softball, please ocme out to the ballpark to cheer the team on.

GO TIGERS!!
