The game remained scoreless until the top of the fourth when senior first baseman, Stephen Bowen legged out a two-out double to right-center and scored on a solid single to left by junior second-baseman, Cole Ely.  In the fifth, junior third sacker, Dustin Gough hit a lead-off single and advanced to second on a bunt hit by left fielder, Garrett Howard. After Gough scored on a botched pickoff attempt, pinch hitter, Caolan Walsh laced a single to right, plating Howard.  The Cougars added an insurance run in the seventh when Walsh (fielder's choice) scored on an error.  Sophmore center fielder, Addie Burrow finished 2-3 on the evening.
