Danville Ironmen

Oct 9, 2017 - Milton

Danville played at home against Milton on the stadium turf. Danville started strong from the start and was pressing to win the ball back quickly. Danville was able to string more the ten passes together on many occasions throughout the game. The Ironmen did a great job of using the defensive line to switch play and keep the ball. The opening goal came from some quick thinking from Danville. Andrei Bucaloiu was fouled by two Milton players just outside the box. He quickly placed the ball and found an open Holden Zakarian as Milton was arguing the call and setting up the wall. A wide open Holden took a touch and then calmly placed the ball in the far corner. The second half saw the Ironmen have even more possession of the ball and they also found more space to create chances. In the 50th minute the lead was doubled. The move started all the way back with the Danville keeper. The ball was dropped to Braeden who made a pass out and the Ironmen made several passes until Keith Sassaman got the ball around midfield. Keith slotted a ball into Andrei Bucaloiu. Andrei finished past the Milton keeper. Danville got the third goal shortly after. Andrei took a corner kick and Jacob Foster was able to turn the cross into the net. Danville created many good chances to score throughout the game. Milton did earn a constellation goal in the waning minutes of the game. Danville improved to 13-2 on the season.

Andrei Bucaloiu was the first to the ball and took a few dribbles and finished in the upper 90. For the next 20 minutes
