The Men's Lacrosse Club at Georgia State will be competing for their second year in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) in the South Eastern Lacrosse Conference. (SELC) The team has a challenging schedule, competing against teams such as: Columbus State, Emory, Kennesaw State University, Wake Forest, Ole Miss and many more.
Men's Lacrosse Club at Georgia State University has been busy this off season making exciting new additions to the program. We would like to welcome our new President Shane McCart, Treasurer Hunter Gilkenson, and Officers Blake Jaurigue, and Walsh Brennan. We are excited to have our head coach Billy McCoulough returning for his fourth consecutive season. This year Georgia State has added two new assistant coaches. We would like to welcome assistant defensive coach Blake Cherney, and assistant offensive coach Barry Bean. Blake and Barry both have several years of experience, playing in high school and as former players at Georgia State.
For those of you that don’t know we rejoined the MCLA/SELC Division II and competed in the 2014-2015 season. We are excited for this upcoming season as we continue to grow and compete in the MCLA/SELC Divison II.
