Madisonville (MYB) Recreational Soccer

Welcome to MYB’s Recreational soccer program. Where kids from ages 4 to 18 sign up because their primary objective is to have fun and gain pleasure from the sport of soccer. Our Recreational teams are coached by volunteers who work with our players to provide a fun environment where players learn the basic and not so basic soccer skills.

Recreational teams practice 1 or 2 times per week and have games on the weekend. Our 5U - 8U teams play intra-league games at Coquille in the Fall and Spring. The 9U and older teams play in the Northshore Recreational League where teams from other Northshore communities are involved, limited travel is required.  For more information on our Recreational Program, please contact George Beck at mybsoccerrec@gmail.com.

2017-2018 Competitive Evaluations

All players wishing to attend evals must register online through Coquille's website.

Only registered players will be allowed to attend.  Attendance rosters will be generated from online registration 24 hours prior to the eval.

Players must check in at the field prior to the start time to receive an eval number.

We recommend players attend all evaluation dates for their designated age group.  If a player cannot make any of the eval dates for their age group, contact the Competitive Soccer Commissioner (mybcompsoccer@gmail.com) to schedule an evaluation.

Jun 2, 2017 - New Recreational Programs

Advanced Technical Development Program - 10U Players
MYB’s Advanced Technical Development Program (ATDP) prepares 10U young players for the challenging world of competitive soccer.  This program bridges the gap between recreational and competitive soccer by providing players with a technical foundation to support future learning and development. The focus on individual skills and confidence eases the transition from recreational to competitive play, giving our players the tools they need to be successful competitive soccer players in the future.

*Due to the limited availability of coaches, participation in the ATDP program may be capped at a select number of players.

ATDP Sample Session (10U - 2008 Birth Year - Only) - June  28th, 2017

*ATDP Registration will open June 29th at midnight - limited roster openings, first come, first served registration. In District players will have priority.
*CLICK HERE for ATDP Policies and more information

Advanced Technical Development Sessions
New Opportunity for 9U Players!

This season, 9U players will have the opportunity to register for the Advanced Technical Development Sessions (these are individual sessions, not like the 10U ATDP program). This program provides players with a technical foundation to support future learning and development. The sessions focus entirely on the development of a single technique (e.g. dribbling with laces). Sessions will be 1hr in length and will run over a 5 week period (1 session per week). Sessions will be limited to 18 players, boys and girls will have separate sessions. Cost $35, includes cotten training shirt.
