--The men's tournament last weekend was a huge success and we raised $1100 for our baseball program! We hope to be able to purchase an electronic scoreboard next spring. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to Travis Clark, Shawn Pape and the entire Market Street team for organizing the tournament and letting us sell concessions. None of this would have happened without these guys! Thanks to the Red Caboose Tree Farm and R&R Machining for sponsoring the tournament, thanks to our fans, and thanks to everyone who volunteered their time during the tournament. Tim Ronnenberg, Al Groth, Terry Bauer and Tim Groth did a great job prepping the field and keeping it up during the games. Thanks to Kim Larsen, Martha Clemmensen, Bill Suffrins, Audrey Bauer, Angel and Ella Praxel, Shelby Kammerer, Bridget Bauer, Kari Groth, Luke Stinson and Kelsey Groth for helping out with concessions.
We have really great parents involved with our baseball program right now, thank you all! See you all next year!
--Ridgeway Baseball has been given the opportunity to work the concession stand on Friday, Sept 15th and Sat, Sept 16th in Ridgeway during a mens softball tournament. The tournament is being organized by some Ridgeway Baseball alumni and their friends who want to help out our program by allowing us to work the stand to raise money for our field. Please 'save the date' and watch for an email next week with more specifics regarding times and tasks you may be able to help with. Thank you!
---All 10U players and families are invited to a fun night at the field on Friday, Aug 4th starting at 6pm. There will be a little scrimmage and some kickball in which parents are invited to participate. Pizza will be provided. There are very limited beverages remaining at the field so you may want to bring your own, and feel free to bring snacks to share if you would like.
