Hannah Featherstone was one of the small group of swimmers from the North East who qualified for the British Championships held at the Aquatic Centre London during the 14th to 18th April.
She swam in the 50,100, 200 and the 400 Freestyle events. Her performance followed the pattern of all the Sedgefield swimmers this year, improving entry time in the heats and again in the final.
Competing in the 16 year age group she made four finals and took the bronze medal in the 100 200 and 400m freestyle.
A truly outstanding performance and one that may merit her selection to compete in the 2015 European Games to be held in Azerbaijan 21st to 28th June.
Chief Coach John Moore would like to thank all the swimmers in the club and all the support staff for their contribution to the success at the championships.
