At Sinton High School we've got a great tradition here in South Texas. And in Texas football it's our passion and way of life. Where across the state from August til December Friday Night Lights lighting up the skies of Texas with the thundering sound of bands and the roaring fans cheering on their teams with spirit, wearing their school colors with pride. Sinton is located 20 or 30 miles north west of Corpus Christi. Small town with successful athletic programs. This site is dedicated to the fans who shared the spirit of the "Neverending S" which is handed down from Pirate to Pirate, Past, Present and the Future

Jaime Gonzalez (1,165 rushing, 12 TDs) figures to play a big role in attempt to right the ship.

Nov 13, 2014 - Area High School Football Notebook

District 15-4A, Division II was every bit the monster Sinton coach Tom Allen thought it was going to be. Graig Hesseltine, coach of rival Ingleside, figured as much to.

The five-team group turned in three seven-win teams- among  them, the Pirates-and the level of competition is of benefit to four playoff-bound teams: Sinton, Cuero, Yoakum and Ingleside.

The Pirates will be feeling the lasting effects come Friday.

"We're pretty banged up and we're keeping a few things on the downlow around here," said Allen. "There's going be to some young guys getting a lot of reps this week just because we're not very healthy. We've got a couple linebackers that are dinged up, a couple of skill guys that may or may not play. They'll probably be game-time decisions. This time of year, there's a lot of attrition that goes on with football and you've got to go war with who you've got."

Up first for Allen and his Pirates : Port Isabel , a team he admits isn't as formidable as it was in 2013 when it went 12-1 and lost by a touchdown to La Vernia in the third round
