Tricheck is a post-collegiate women’s lacrosse team based out of Los Angeles, California. We range in age from 18 to much older. Many of our players have played in college at some level. Our team is casual but competitive and we are always looking for new players! We do not have tryouts. We do not cap our roster. Everyone is welcome to come out and play!
Our membership year starts in January and runs all year, but there’s no deadline to sign-up and new players are welcome to join at any time. We have a spring season, starting in January or February and running through May or June, that usually consists of a few tournaments and 5-10 games. We also have a fall season, starting in September, that usually consists of at least one tournament approximately 3-5 games. Over the summer there are 1-2 tournaments and we try to have several games as well.
Games are played against other post-collegiate clubs (mainly San Diego), as well as some colleges throughout the area (from San Diego up to Santa Barbara). Games usually take place on weekends, but we may also have a few weeknight games as well.
Dues are $100 for the year ($50 if you join after September 1). Dues are used to cover field fees, ref fees, and other team expenses. There are no "per game" dues and dues must be paid in full before your first game or tournament. You can pay using the link at the bottom of the page. Most tournament entry fees are NOT included in the dues because Tricheck has to pay an entry fee to enter each tournament. Tournament fees are usually around $50-$70, depending on the fee Tricheck must pay to enter the tournament.
We do not usually practice. There is no attendance or commitment requirement. Once you pay the dues, you are free to show up or not show up as you please (obviously, it's more fun for all involved if you show up).
To sign up, visit the registration form available on the side menu of this page. If you have questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
