Texas Tech Club Volleyball is a part of the Sport Club Federation at Texas Tech University and is geared towards female athletes who enjoy a more competitive environment than the recreational leagues. We practice twice a week and travel around the state to compete in tournaments. We offer a fun environment and a great way to meet new people. We also compete in a national tournament that is held at the end of the SIVA season, this year that tournament will be in Dallas. Dues are $100 per semester and some extra costs may be required to cover travel expenses.

Our final match of the day against Texas State "A" started off rocky with us losing the first game 21-7. They rebounded back after that to win the next two games and the match 21-17, & 15-12. Texas Tech made it to the Championship's Final Round against the University of Texas-Austin, the defending National Champions. The two teams split the first two games, but UT took the third and final game and won the Conference Championship. Outstanding plays were made by the Junior setter, Laura Mason, and the Junior libero Ashley Davis.
Tech came out to a slow start, but managed to pull together an undefeated day leading to the last game. This tournament was the first for Tech to play with its complete team. It was a great way to go out for the season, and a great motivator for next year.
