Ken Johnson is in his 13th year as a baseball coach at Westmont and is entering his 11th season as an Assistant Coach with the Varsity program. Previously, Coach Johnson served two years as an Assistant Coach with the Frosh-Soph team and finished the final five games of the 2007 season as the Interim Frosh-Soph Head Coach.
A graduate from Fresno State in 1983, he has remained involved in the sport of baseball as both a player and a coach. He has played Adult League Baseball through the years, most recently as a member of the San Jose Dukes of the Bay Area Vintage Base Ball League. For the past four summers Ken has coached with San Jose Travel Ball, working with its 16U and 18U teams.
Ken attended Monta Vista High School where he was a 1st Team All-League selection in both football and baseball. Ken helped lead the Matadors' baseball team to a third place finish in the Central Coast Section in 1979 as their catcher.
Ken is a Founder of WAGIC, Inc. (What A Great Idea Company) in San Jose and is currently serving a Director of BizSmart Global, a Santa Clara based company that teaches entrepreneurship skills to teens all around the world. He lives in Campbell with his wife, Susan, and has two daughters, Katie, who is an Athletic Trainer at the University of Southern California, and Kellie, who works for the Campbell School District.
